Summer Music v2.0 July 9-13, 2012

Since 2001, Summer Music has strived to bring you the best educators in the bay area to provide children the opportunity to study music in a fun and productive environment. Summer Music is designed to challenge students at ALL levels, from beginner through the accomplished young musician, and help them take their skills to the next level. It is our mission to put the FUN back in FUNdamentals.

We have three goals:

1. KNOWLEDGE - Take your instrumental, and theoretical musical skills to the next level.
2. FOOD - Great snacks!
3. FUN - It has been scientifically proven that enjoyment of the learning process drastically increases both the acquisition and retention of skills- and face it, given the option, both teachers AND students would rather be having more FUN in the process of teaching and learning.

As with any skill, it is the minute distinctions that allow you to break through and take your ability to the next level. Often we know “what to do,” but forget to “do what we know.” It is our priority and passion to coach and motivate students to apply the daily routines that will increase their musical ability at the quickest rate.

Simply put, we put the FUN back into FUNdamentals.
